Many times when I bet on some event I happened to be somewhere outside without internet access and I couldn`t check how a team that I bet on was playing.So I came to the idea of making a Java based application for a mobile phone, which provides me a live results for a selected games.

What are the advantages of this Java based mobile phone application?

- You have access to a live soccer results for over 60 countries from all-over the world, including lesser leagues from middle-east, Asia, South America & Europe.

- You can easily add/remove games that you are interested in.

- When a football match starts, ends or when a goal is scored, a vibra sound on your phone informs you about a change.

- Autorefresh function is set to 90 seconds, so you don`t have to refresh it by yourself.

- In case of a incoming call or even accidental exit from a program you don`t have to select games all over again, because a program remembers the list of selected game(s), so you can continue in a snap.

- It is programed to refresh results only for the selected games, so the amount of transfered data is minimal and maximally reduces the costs of WAP usage.

How does this program work?

- After you run the application you select a wanted game(s), for example Liverpool - Man United, which can be found under England-> Premier league.

- When you are satisfied with your selection(s) a program asks you if you want to go online (access through WAP or GPRS).

- When you are connected, all you have to do is to press a button called "on timer" and the program starts working.

Both teams have already qualified to the next stage, so it is kind of a friendly game.However hosts should be more motivated here. Despite four wins and only one loss they weren`t as impresive as expected which brought to a change of coach.Brasilian coach Dos Anjos was replaced by well known coach Al Johar, which imediately led to a great performance against Singapore. Coach said he will use his best players againt Uzbekistan and that great news for this pick. Saudis are one of the best teams in the middle east if not the best and their home record says it all.They won all three games at home in this campaign and also the last 9 games at home with impressive goal difference.

Uzbekistan won all 5 games in this campaign and they were dominating in all their matches.Just like Saudis they were extremely impressive at home where they didn`t concede a single goal. Visitors won`t come to Riyad with their best players. Coach announced he will use some new players, while their key duo Denisov and Shatskih surely won`t play. In their latest game they were far from being impressive against the depleted team of Singapore and won only by a single goal just a few minutes till the end.

Motivation is surely on home side and considering the fact that that Saudis regularly beat Uzbekistan at home I find these odds more that attractive and I will invest medium/high stakes on this one! Good luck!

The first thing that came on my mind when Turkey managed to pull a terrific comeback against the Czechs was betting on over here. Now lets see why. Croatia likes to play against offensive minded teams. They are very good on counter attacks and they have players who can score at anytime. Croats have no important missing ahead of this game. Turkish side will miss several players, who are either injured or suspended. There will be several changes in the defensive part of the team and this is where I see more chances for Croats to deliver. Turkey scored 5 times on this tournament so far and they have pacey attackers who are very dangerous. With Nihat upfront they can score against every team.
